Events are organised and run for the enjoyment of members and their guests.

In 2024 we ran 17 activities and fundraising events which were attended by over 540 members and their guests.  

Events for 2025 will be added below as dates are finalised.

Bookings can be made online or the forms can be printed and posted.  Payment may be made by either BACS or cheque.

Mark is a very popular speaker and he has given us many interesting talks.  This presentation is a collection of Isle of Wight WW II wartime memories and eye witness accounts, from local people that are often forgotten with the passing of time.

Rebecca Fitzgerald has spent many years restoring the house to its original condition as a historic home.  In addition to the house, we have arranged an exclusive guided tour of the garden with the Head Gardener.  This is something that they have not done...

Visit to Buckingham Palace - FULLY BOOKED

NOW FULLY BOOKED - WAITING LIST AVAILABLE

This will be a 12-hour event organised in conjunction with Opal Coaches. 

We will meet at 8am outside the Town Hall in East Cowes, where we will board the coach to take us to Buckingham Palace via Red Funnel Ferry to Southampton. 

We will have a set time to tour the Palace on a free flow unguided basis with a visit to the grounds.

There will be a set meeting time for the homeward journey, arriving back on the Island about 8pm.

A non-returnable deposit of £10 pp is required to be paid...
